The initial request was highly specific with a criteria list of ‘must haves’ within a particular town. Nothing remotely suitable was on the market so with the aid of a local estate agent we did a letter drop to likely properties with surprising results, revealing one lovely house but well over budget. Sudden and unexpected health issues forced my client to pull out. With their London house by now sold in record time, the search was broadened with new parameters and an immediate timeframe. Though well out of the original area a suitable property came back on the market which met almost all of the ‘must haves’. On the first viewing and over a cup of tea with the vendors my client instructed me to secure it as another interested party arrived! Once refurbished, it will be a stunning home for my clients and their many grandchildren.
