Kingsbridge also has excellent access to the A38 Devon Expressway, linking Plymouth and Exeter where it joins the M54. Schooling in the area is excellent with a number of well-regarded primary and Kingsbridge Community College – a secondary school and sixth form with academy status.

The town itself has a thriving market as well as a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. Kingsbridge is also home to a number of annual events such as the Kingsbridge Fair Week and The Bigbury Music Festival.

Tavistock
