PROPERTY IN BROOKWOOD

This highly sought after village lies to the west of Woking, in a semi-rural location. Heathland abounds and Sheets Heath, where the most expensive properties are found, is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Smart’s Heath and Brookwood Heath are also nearby. For canal lovers, the Basingstoke Canal, with a series of locks, is close by and provides an uplift in value to properties that have a canal-side location.

There is good road access to the M3/A3/M25, London Heathrow and Gatwick airports and Brookwood Station links with the Alton line providing fast access to London and the South West.

There are good schools and shopping close by and other amenities such as pubs, restaurants and sports clubs.

Although believed by some to date from the Anglo-Saxon era, the village grew with the overpopulation of London in the Victorian era, with the laying to rest of so many Londoners in the huge Brookwood Cemetery which was served by its own railway line/station, now disused.

There is a wealth of character and more contemporary homes for those on all budgets.

ABOUT NEIL

As a Chartered Surveyor, property professional and relocation agent, Neil has almost 40 years experience, acting either for clients or in pursuing his own interests in both the buying and renting of residential property, particularly in London, Surrey and Kent where he has lived and worked most of his life.

Knowing the trials and tribulations involved, he is well placed with his bespoke service, to guide clients who are busy with their own lives and business concerns, or those with the combined pressure of changing jobs and moving home, through the process as speedily and smoothly as possible.

With his agency contacts, Neil has been able to source, early “off market” opportunities for clients seeking properties to buy or rent for their own occupation or investment purchase, either as Holiday Let or “Buy To Let”, some also with redevelopment potential, of which they would not have otherwise been aware.
