Property in Woking

Woking is within reasonable reach of the A3/M3/M25, both London Heathrow and Gatwick airports and has very good rail access to London and elsewhere.

There are good local state and independent schools with Woking College providing post 16 education. There is a range of shopping, leisure and other amenities such as pubs, restaurants and sports clubs, with the very exclusive Wisley Golf Club being close by. Woking is home to the Surrey History Centre, holding archives and records about the County.

Mentioned in the Domesday Book, notable residents over time have included the Bedser twins, who played cricket for Surrey and Ron Dennis the McLaren Formula One Motor Racing Team boss, with the team headquarters being based here. The area is actually steeped in motor racing (and aviation) history with Brooklands Museum, associated with the birth of motor racing and early aviation being close by.

The countryside around Woking is wide and varied with the town and nearby villages such as Pirbright, Pyrford and Brookwood providing a range of historic, older and more contemporary housing to buy or rent, whatever your budget.

As a Chartered Surveyor, property professional and relocation agent, Neil has almost 40 years experience, acting either for clients or in pursuing his own interests in both the buying and renting of residential property, particularly in London, Surrey and Kent where he has lived and worked most of his life.

Knowing the trials and tribulations involved, he is well placed with his bespoke service, to guide clients who are busy with their own lives and business concerns, or those with the combined pressure of changing jobs and moving home, through the process as speedily and smoothly as possible.

With his agency contacts, Neil has been able to source, early “off market” opportunities for clients seeking properties to buy or rent for their own occupation or investment purchase, either as Holiday Let or “Buy To Let”, some also with redevelopment potential, of which they would not have otherwise been aware.
