PROPERTY IN ASHFORD

Dating from Iron Age times, Ashford’s growth has primarily been linked to its very good road and rail communications, having two junctions to the M20 and a high-speed rail link to London and the continent, the latter via Eurostar. The close by Lydd airport has regular services to Le Touquet in France.

It is a major market town and there are good schools, a major hospital and shopping, leisure and other amenities such as pubs, restaurants and sports clubs.

Situated at the south edge of the North Downs and in the valley of the River Stour, the countryside around Ashford is wide and varied.

Whatever your budget, there is an extensive range of older and more contemporary housing styles in Ashford and in villages such as Kennington, Sevington and Singleton which have become suburbs of Ashford. There are also other very attractive villages further afield such as Aldington, Wye, Petham and Warehorne.

ABOUT NEIL

As a Chartered Surveyor, property professional and relocation agent, Neil has almost 40 years experience, acting either for clients or in pursuing his own interests in both the buying and renting of residential property, particularly in London, Surrey and Kent where he has lived and worked most of his life.

Knowing the trials and tribulations involved, he is well placed with his bespoke service, to guide clients who are busy with their own lives and business concerns, or those with the combined pressure of changing jobs and moving home, through the process as speedily and smoothly as possible.

With his agency contacts, Neil has been able to source, early “off market” opportunities for clients seeking properties to buy or rent for their own occupation or investment purchase, either as Holiday Let or “Buy To Let”, some also with redevelopment potential, of which they would not have otherwise been aware.
