It’s well served for supermarkets (Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose) and local shops, but has less to offer culturally: for example The Maltings is the only (and small) venue for film and theatre. That city is easily reached by train in under 20 minutes and London direct in 75 minutes, but the A10 to Cambridge is frustratingly slow.
