Property in Cirencester

Tracing its origins back to Roman Corinium, Cirencester is known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, a thriving, vibrant market town. With excellent access to road (M4, M5) and rail communications (railhead at Kemble, Paddington 1h20), Cirencester and its surrounding villages attract a wide range of people to live. The Cotswold Water park with its range of outdoor facilities is on the doorstep, and there is easy access to all the facilities of Cheltenham and Swindon (both around 15 miles) as well as larger centres such as Oxford and Bristol. There is a wide range of schools in the vicinity such as Rendcomb, Westonbirt and others, complemented by the world-famous Royal Agricultural College and other further and higher education institutions. There is a monthly Farmers’ Market, twice-weekly Charter market, and a fuller selection of shops than might be expected in a town of its size. Outlying villages are all popular locations with a wealth of attractive properties.

Property in Cirencester ranges from traditional town houses made from the honey coloured Cotswold limestone, to modern houses and apartments that are more often found outside of the historic city centre.
